On May 28, 2024, the world-renowned "drupa 2024" opened grandly to the global printing industry at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Hall in Germany! In the nearly 140,000 square meters of net area and 18 exhibition halls, a total of 1,646 exhibitors from 52 countries and regions around the world competed on the same stage. Zhejiang Zenbo Intelligent Machinery Co.,Ltd. (Zhejiang Zenbo) made a wonderful appearance at this year's drupa printing exhibition.
Zhejiang Zenbo Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd was founded in 2009 , is the industry standard draft organization of sheet feeding paper bag making machine , the invisible champion enterprise of Zhejiang Province , the National Key Little giant enterprise of Specialization and Innovation. In addition to having such high sales in China, Zenbo Sheet feeding paper bag making machine also exported to Europe and the United States and other more than 70 countries and regions , the market share is ranked first in China and the world's top three.

Zhejiang Zenbo's current paper bag machine mainly include four series, namely: sheet feeding boutique paper bag with handle s series , roll feeding environmentally friendly paper bag RS series, sheet feeding luxury or boutique paper bag CT series, and single-sheet feeding gift bag CS series.
At this Drupa exhibition, Zenbo exhibited a total of three machines, two of the machines are world firsts, named ZB1260S-450S insert pasting sheet feed paper bag making machine with insert bottom cardboard ,and named ZB1200CT-430ESF full servo intelligent paper bag making machine. In addition, there is a ZB1260RS-450 fully automatic roll to sheet paper bag with handle machine. Although this device is not a world premiere, it has also brought about a disruptive improvement, with a speed exceeding 100 pieces per minute.
"We first participated in Drupa in 2012, and this is our third time to participate. The first exhibition was only over 100 square meters, and we brought an automatic machine worth more than 1 million (equivalent to the current semi-automatic paper bag machine). At that time, foreign customers had no impression of our products. The second exhibition was in 2016, when we show a paper bag machine independently developed by Zenbo with independent intellectual property rights. Many European customers were very surprised after seeing it, and then received many number of orders; this time our exhibition area is 560 square meters, and we brought three machines. The first one is ZB1200CT-430ESF full servo intelligent paper bag making machine, which has full servo motor and a system with memory function, application field of the luxury and boutique paper bags; the second is the ZB1260RS-450 fully automatic roll to sheet paper bag with handle machine, which is produce environmentally friendly paper bags and has the characteristics of high speed and high efficiency. It used to be 70 per minute before, but now it can reach 100 per minute; the other machine is an environmentally friendly insert pasting paper bag machine with insert bottom cardboard in line , which integrates the craftsmanship of luxury good needs into environmentally friendly bag making, mainly use for the high-end market. The insert pasting function is very innovative, and the requirements for precision and firmness are very high. This machine was bought by our old customer in Europe on the first day of the exhibition. "While speaking, Mr. Yan's joy was beyond words.
For Zhejiang Zenbo, there are two themes for participating in Drupa this time: one is environmental protection, and the other is intelligent automation.
Mr. Yan also mentioned that in previous years, Zenbo's market was mainly concentrated in the Southeast Asian market, but this year's market is in Europe and the United States. Because most orders had returned, customers in Europe and the United States need more intelligent and highly automated equipment to reduce labor cost and improve efficiency. Next, Zenbo also plans to set up a service center in Europe to focus on expanding the European and American markets.
Talking about the proportion of export sales, Mr. Yan said: "Zenbo focuses on global sales, and all products are sold domestically and abroad. Since our establishment, our annual export sales have basically remained stable at 30%. Although it has dropped about 15% during the epidemic, we expect it to increase to about 40% this year."
For European and American customers, buying equipment is not just about price, but also about the brand development potential and service.
"We have always insisted on independent development, so we already have a number of invention patents, including the S series with both roll and single-sheet feeding method, S series insert pasting top folding and insert bottom cardboard, S and CT series automatic top reinforced card, CS and CT series one machine can achieve square bottom and split bottom modular combination, CT series intelligent size changing, CT series double sheets jointed process, etc. Among them, the ZB1260RS-450S series won “the first (set) in key areas"in china. Mr. Yan introduced.
Up to now, Zhejiang Zenbo has applied for 65 patents and holds 15 invention patents. The world's leading printing industry companies and more than 90% of domestic dairy brands are its long-term partners. 90% of the world's luxury brands' matching paper bags are produced by equipment provided by Zhejiang Zenbo Machinery.

"Global productivity is constantly developing, and every company is constantly improving its quality and shaping its brand. This is what we will do for a long time in the future. We are prepared to do both. One side is the hard power of quality. Our new factory is about to be built, we will increase investment in development and product innovation to make our machines more automated and intelligent, so that machines can speak. In the future, our machine can be seamlessly connected to the ERP/MES system of any manufacturer; the other side is to focus on the soft power of the brand. Our core values have changed from service first and then sales to (Enabling customer success,customer first.) Only by focusing on users can we achieve long-term development of the company." Mr.Yan said.
The foundation of the brand is that the company has strong machine performance.
"The market price of our machines is 10% higher than similar products of established foreign companies," said Mr.Yan. "We are confident because the equipment we produce is more stable and more intelligent."
We also observed that when European and American customers look at equipment, in addition to paying attention to the quality and automation of the product itself, they will also examine the company's comprehensive strength. How to truly make Chinese manufacturing go global and let the brand have a voice in the global segment, Chinese companies still have a long way to go.
